Features
of NA Ribbon Wires |
Excellent Insulation
NA ribbon wire has a uniform insulating film even at the corners of the conductor,
which could not be achieved by the conventional dip-coat method, providing excellent
insulation, and thus high dielectric strength. |
Various Insulating Films Available
NA ribbon wire is available with as many as seven types
of paint from UE (120
class) to AI (200
class), enabling you to choose the best insulation film for
your requirements.
We have commercialized polyamide-imide, with which
the corners of the conductor could not be covered by the conventional method. |
Wide Range of Size Options
NA ribbon wire can have an insulating film formed at the corners of the conductor,
irrespective of the conductor's size and thickness-to-width ratio. Therefore,
it is available in a wide range of dimensions from extra thin (0.025mm
in conductor thickness) to thick (0.30mm
in conductor thickness). (Consult us if you need a wire with a thickness-to-width
ratio exceeding 1:20, which we can provide.) |
Available for Various Winding Coils
NA ribbon wire is available in a wide variety of insulating film thicknesses,
making it ideal for producing flatwise- and -
winding coils. Due to the flexibility of its film, the NA ribbon wire can
also be used successfully for demanding types of winding, such as edgewise winding. |
Use with Various Bonding Films
TOTOKU offers various kinds of bonding film so you can choose the most appropriate
one for your needs. |
Excellent Cost Performance
The manufacturing method of NA ribbon wire features TOTOKU's original varnishing
and baking technology to achieve lower costs than any of the company's conventional
methods. |
