Leafconn is a connecting
lead wire best suited for internal wirings of electronic apparatus.
FFC is composed of conductors of rectangular section laid in parallel at a specified
pitch and sandwiched between plastic film tapes. The joining surfaces of the upper
and lower tapes are bonded together by heat and pressure or adhesive applied to
them. It is used for connectors between circuit boards and for connectors of circuit
boards to electronic parts in electronic apparatus such as printers, copying machine,
stereo players, TV sets, video tape recorders, telephone sets, etc. It is highly
economical and reliable.
New lineup: Halogen-free FFC is an environmentally friendly
cable and Gold-plated FFC eliminates the production of whiskers. |
Features |
[Standard FFCs] |
Economical as compared with FPC. |
Highly flexible, and durable against repeated
bending . |
Various length and number of conductors available
by request. |
Since the cable itself can also be used as
the connector contact, it makes the connecting easy. |
As the rectangular conductor is better in
heat radiation than the round one, current capacity can be made greater per given
sectional area. |
It can be used in any bent form. |
Saving the wiring space, it increases the
packaging density. |
[Halogen-free
FFC] An environmentally friendly cable |
Does not contain a halogen-based
flame retardant or antimonid. |
Has the same features including
flame retardance as Leafconn connecting lead wires, which conventionally use a
halogen-based flame retardant. |
[Gold-plated
FFC] To eliminate whiskers |
High wire-connecting reliability
without producing whiskers. |
Excels in contact stability
for use with a connector. |
Superior corrosion resistance
and enables soldering. |

Bending, taping at both faces, stamping and
shield-processing are available for all FFC types. Enquire for details. |
All of our FFC types
are lead-free. |
Applications |
Lead wires for the connection between printed
circuit boards and for the connection of the boards with electronic parts within
electronic apparatus such as printers, copying machines, stereo players, TV sets,
video tape recorders, telephone sets, fax machines, etc. |
