Cable Connection to a Maximum of 30 Meters without a Power Supply
It was previously possible to transmit digital video interface (DVI) signals only to a maximum of about five meters using a metal cable. The adoption of new technology enables us to transmit such signals to a maximum of 30 meters without a power supply. In addition, the price is lower than that of optical transmission systems and there is no complicated setup procedure. The one-cable configuration is easy to connect.
*Cable has directivity for signal transmission.

- Does not need external power supply
An equalizer circuit that does not need power supply is built into the connector.
- Compliant with the Ultra extended Graphics Array (UXGA), or a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200 dots and full high-definition (HD) of 1920 x 1080 dots
Transmission at UXGA is available with a single connector.
- Compliant with the VCCI (Japan), FCC (U.S.A.) and CE (EU) electromagnetic wave radiation standards
In medical care field, the DVI cable assembly is optimized for connecting TOTOKU's medical image display.
- Simultaneous transmission of DDC signals
Does not require external EDID setting.

Comparison of TOTOKU Long-distance Transmission DVI Cable with Conventional Ones
TOTOKU Long-distance Transmission DVI Cable / Does not need an external AC power supply and the conversion procedure or a compensator.
TOTOKU DVI Cable does not require a conventional AC power connection, or an expensive repeater or a compensator. Its one-cable configuration makes it easy to install and connect compared to optical cables. TOTOKU’s original material technology and equalizer circuit achieve fine digital image quality for long-distance transmission.
Conventional Long-distance Transmission: Type A
Expensive system employing optical cables and optical repeaters. External AC power supplies are necessary at both source and sink sides. Difficult to install.

Expensive system that employs a compensator: A power supply is necessary and image quality deteriorates when an analog cable is used.
