TOTOKU to reveal two monochrome LCDs
with strengthened quality control capabilities at RSNA 2006

TOKYO, Japan, November 6, 2006 – TOTOKU Electric Co., Ltd. will exhibit at RSNA 2006 two monochrome medical LCDs that are added with a remote calibration capability to ease the burden on quality control.

Medical image displays are required to maintain high image quality with accuracy over a long period of time. It is also important that their quality control can be easily performed.
TOTOKU’s new ME253i2 and ME355i2 are mounted with a newly developed luminance stabilizing system. Coupled with improved performance monitoring software PM Medivisor, DICOM calibration can be accomplished from a remote management terminal within the same network. Compared with TOTOKU’s existing models, quality control support is strengthened.
ME253i2 and ME355i2 streamline quality management of medical image displays and serve growing market needs for quality control measures.
