Monochrome digital mammography display MS51i2 launched at ITEM
In our booth, we set up an area that fully simulates the diagnostic environment of radiogram interpretation, and installed four workstations including MS51i2. Two of them were on-market workstations (only in Japan) equipped with viewer software enabling 15M sub-pixels to be driven independently to support TOTOKU MS51i2, Climb Medical Systems digital mammography workstation, “Infinet-Mammo mammary” and Panasonic AVC Medical medical imaging workstation, “Prissimo.” The other two were set for a comparison between conventional displays and displays with *ISD technology.
Many expert visitors: This year, we had three times as many visitors as we did last year (ITEM2007)!! Physicians and healthcare professionals accounted for 50% of the visitors.
74% of the visitors to find MS51i2 useful in diagnosis:We surveyed booth exhibitors and asked them if they felt the MS51i2 was more effective in diagnosis than conventional 5MP displays. 74% of visitors said yes! More specifically, MS51i2 received good reviews such as “excellent reproduction ability of micro calcifications,” “sharp image quality, ” and “high contrast.”

*TOTOKU's ISD technology adds three sub-pixels for each pixel, essentially increasing the overall resolution by three times, thereby providing a more crisp image. >more

New high-luminance color displays
We launched new 2MP and 3MP medical color displays, CCL254i2 with a maximum luminance of 950cd/m² and CCL354i2 with a maximum luminance of 800cd/m², which were released in April 2008. The new color displays provide best-in-class luminance with high contrast are capable of reproducing grayscale images with the same quality as monochrome displays. This versatility is advantageous for multi-modality viewing stations.
