RSNA2005 Event Report

RSNA 2006 (Radiological Society of North America)

November 26 - December 1, 2006 at McCormick Place in Chicago

One of the largest radiological equipment exhibits in the world RSNA 2006 was held in Chicago again this year. TOTOKU ran two joint booths with its American distributors and presented its brand-new medical image display solutions. We had a lot of visitors at both booths.

On Display:

Presentation of new models loaded with the remote calibration function

TOTOKU unveiled its upcoming monochrome medical image displays ME355i2 (3MP) and ME253i2 (2MP) that are scheduled for next spring.

The two i2 models are loaded with a brand-new luminance stabilizing system that enables remote grayscale calibration from a management terminal within the network, when used with TOTOKU’s performance monitoring software. In other words, the i2 models further streamline display quality control.

They also come with a luminance uniformity compensation function that evens out luminance across the screen. Along with the ability to simultaneously display 11-bit grayscale, the i2 models realize high-quality and high-resolution images. To illustrate the new functions, we demonstrated remote calibration on network-connected i2 models at our booths.

We also exhibited a lineup of our Medivisor Series software solutions to comprehensively support quality management of our existing models such as CCL350i and CCL250i.
